Night at the Museum…
The Dey Mansion was rocking and rolling on July 15 as over 60 history-loving patrons dined on grilled hot dogs, kicked back on blankets and lawn chairs, and turned out for “Night at the Museum.” The Volatiles, a punk rock band that hails from Montclair, and the South Orange-based combo Sad About Girls, entertained the audience against the backdrop of the historic 1780 headquarters of General George Washington. During the festivities, several local historians concurred that Alexander Hamilton would have been more than eager to partake in the high-spirited merriment.
