Passaic County Parks is once again teaming up with our partners at Wawayanda State Park to host a Friday Night Winter Hike. Additional information on this hike is posted on the Wawayanda State Park | Hewitt NJ | Facebook page. Please register directly with the Wawayanda State Park Office for this event (NJDEP | Wawayanda State Park | New Jersey State Park Service). The registration fee is $8.00 and head lamps are required to attend.
NOTE: Depending on snow conditions, the hike may be changed to a snowshoe event. If this occurs, notification of this change and any schedule changes, will be posted on the Wawayanda State Park Facebook page. Snowshoe rentals are available through Wawayanda State Park, however, rentals are in limited supply. Snowshoes ARE REQUIRED to attend if it becomes a snowshoe event.Â
