Poetry Open Mic

Word Seed Inc. and the Paterson Museum invite you to join them on Friday, January 20th for our first poetry program of 2023! Whether you want to share your poetic voice with an audience or you are just interested in hearing the creative musings of Paterson, “Power of Words” is for you!
The program will begin at 6pm and feature a Youth Poetry Slam. Open mic opportunities for attendees will be available. In honor of the National Day of Racial Healing, participants are encouraged to focus their open mic submissions to themes related to the effects of racism in American society, our common humanity, and justice equality. The program is in-person, at the Paterson Museum (2 Market Street). This event is FREE and open to all ages.
