On September 19th and 20th join us at the Paterson Museum (2 Market Street) and the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park (72 McBride Ave Ext), as ATC Studio’s Shakespeare on Site returns with the Bard’s enchanting comedy, A (Mini) Midsummer Night’s Dream. Be sure to join us for one of three, free performances and learn how “the course of true love never did run smooth.”
The debut performance will take place on Friday, September 19th at 7pm at the Paterson Museum, with an actor talk back following the performance. The performances on Saturday, September 20th begin at 12:30pm and 3pm, at the Paterson Great Falls Amphitheatre. In case of bad weather, Saturday’s performances will take place in the Paterson Museum. Picnics and blankets are welcome to the outdoor performances. Please observe carry in-carry out with regards to garbage.
Shakespeare on Site works hard to help make the classic Shakespeare plays more accessible and family friendly by shortening the performances to about an hour. All performances are free and open the public. The Paterson Museum and the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park have been working with ATC Studios since 2020 to bring free Shakespeare in the historic district. The Shakespeare on Site program celebrated its tenth season of free Shakespeare in Paterson in 2023.
This program is made possible in part by a grant administered by the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council from funds granted by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
