Sensory Friendly Living History Day

Join us for a special sensory-friendly living history day featuring the 2nd New Jersey Regiment, an 18th century Revolutionary War reenactment unit. Visitors can meet soldiers in period clothing and learn about daily life in 1780 through hands-on demonstrations, cooking over open fires, and military drill.

This program is designed for visitors who benefit from a quieter and more flexible experience. Demonstrations will be smaller in scale, with no sudden loud noises.

Reenactors will use a gentle, conversational approach and welcome questions at your own pace.
