Poetry Workshop

Word Seed Inc., and the Paterson Museum, invite you to join us on Saturday, December 3rd for a very special poetry program featuring Paterson’s own Cat Doty. Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Doty is an accomplished poet, and teacher. She is the author of several books, her latest, “Wonderama,” was published in 2021. The recipient of several fellowships and awards, Doty has worked as a visiting artist throughout New Jersey.
At 5pm, the program will begin with a free poetry workshop presented by Cat Doty. Following the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to share their newly generated poetry, and/ or, old favorites at the open mic. The program is in-person, at the Paterson Museum (2 Market Street). This event is FREE and open to all ages. There is no registration required for the workshop.
