PCAC: Macrame for Adults

Fridays | 2:00PM – 3:30PM
May 1st – June 26th | 8 Sessions
Join us for Macramé (Adults)! In this 8-week class, Cindy Boksy will teach students the basics of forming macrame knots to create larger crafts. The class will cover several different types of fibers and the qualities and characteristics of each. By the end of this session, students will be proficient in square knots, spiral knots, larkshead knots, hitch knots, and berry knots.
Starting with smaller projects like keychains and bookmarks for the beginning part of the session, we will work our way to more complex pieces like plant hangers and decorative wall hangings. By the end of the 8-week session, students will be able to apply their knot skills to larger projects they can work on independently.
Registration is for the entire session. Classes will be held on the following dates: May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; June 5, 12, 26.
