There will be a free screening of “The Quiet Man,” with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara at the Hawthorne Theater in Hawthorne, NJ. There will be a free raffle with great St. Patrick’s Day giveaways!
John Wayne plays Sean “Trooper Thorn” Thornton, a retired American boxer who returns to the village of his birth in 1920s Ireland, where he falls for a Mary Kate Danaher, played by Maureen O’Hara, and whose brother is contemptuous of their union.
