Lecture: Portraits of Patriots

Join author Damien Cregeau as he speaks about his new book Portraits of Patriots, focusing on John Trumbull and five fellow patriots from Connecticut during the American Revolution. Cregeau will go into detail on John, who served as an officer in the war while beginning to become an artist. Trumbull would go on to paint well-known paintings like the Declaration of Independence (1818), Surrender of Lord Cornwallis (1820), and George Washington Before the Battle of Trenton (1792).
