In celebration of New Jersey Day, The County of Passaic, in partnership with Passaic County Community College, will present a talk and documentary film about the life of Baseball Hall of Famer Larry Doby. Doby followed Jackie Robinson, a mere 11 weeks, to become the second African American in Major League Baseball.
The talk and lecture on Larry Doby will take place at the Passaic County Community College Theatre (1 College Blvd, Paterson, NJ). The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Parking is available in the visitor’s lot on Ellison Street, if that fills up, parking will be available in Lot Two on the corner of College Blvd and Memorial Drive.
