Books Unite! Live Performances
Books Unite! is a program by Literature to Life (LTL) in collaboration with Paterson Free Public Library (PFPL) and Passaic County Community College (PCCC). It consists of a series of book clubs, live performances, and interactive workshops, cycling through three different LTL Signature Titles, along with a summer program. All of these events will be free and open to the public, supported by funding through the NJEDA’s A.R.T. – Phase II Grant Program.
The March program features I  Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter by Erika L. Sánchez.
Join us on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Passaic County Community College Theater as Actor Elizabeth Raquel Ramirez takes the stage and performs LTL’s solo-adaptation of I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. These performances will be accompanied by a pre- and post-show discussion led by an LTL Teaching Artist. There will be performances at 1:10 PM and 6:00 PM.
