The Totowa Library will be celebrating “Earth Day” by holding a shredding event fundraiser on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 9:00am-1:00pm, rain or shine. Need to recycle old paperwork with sensitive information? The shredding of these documents will be done onsite. This event is to be held in the side parking lot of the library next to Peterson Road. Suggested donation is $5.00 a box. For more information call: 973-790-3265.
At this event, the Totowa Public Library will also be holding a clothing drive, Clothing Drive Donation Services will be collecting clothes made out of any type of fabric. Besides collecting clothes, they also accept towels, bedspreads and blankets, sheets, comforters, tablecloths, handbags, backpacks, and shoes.
Additionally, a food drive will also take place. Food items needed: Non-perishable items such as: canned vegetables/fruit/meat, cereal, powered milk, pasta, sauces, peanut butter, and jelly, toiletries, dog/cat food (wet and dry).
