DESCRIPTION:An advocate for arts education\, professional dancer and educator\, Dajhia Ingram Maddox believes in the power of community building through dance and all art forms. \nThis event will introduce attendees to the power of mind/body connection through dance\, movement and writing. This exercise\, guided by Maddox\, will enable participants to write down the words that help create movement which reflects their personal stories\, identities\, and emotions.
