SUMMARY:Books Unite! Live Performances
DESCRIPTION:Books Unite! is a program by Literature to Life (LTL) in collaboration with Paterson Free Public Library (PFPL) and Passaic County Community College (PCCC). It consists of a series of book clubs\, live performances\, and interactive workshops\, cycling through three different LTL Signature Titles\, along with a summer program. All of these events will be free and open to the public\, supported by funding through the NJEDA’s A.R.T. – Phase II Grant Program. \nThe March program features I  Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter by Erika L. Sánchez. \nJoin us on Thursday\, March 5\, 2026 at Passaic County Community College Theater as Actor Elizabeth Raquel Ramirez takes the stage and performs LTL’s solo-adaptation of I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. These performances will be accompanied by a pre- and post-show discussion led by an LTL Teaching Artist. There will be performances at 1:10 PM and 6:00 PM.

DESCRIPTION:The Boss — Bruce Springsteen is the muse and subject matter for our first 2026 Exhibition at PCAC. \nThis special exhibit celebrates the 50th Anniversary of ‘Born to Run’ and will spotlight Springsteen’s legendary performances at the Capitol Theater in Passaic\, including December 31\, 1977\, and his three-night run from September 19–21\, 1978. \nWe look forward to celebrating with you at our opening reception! Come visit the Passaic County Arts Center at the John W. Rea House on March 5th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm to view personal photos\, merchandise\, backstage passes\, and items tossed into the crowd from Bruce’s Passaic County shows. \nCan’t make the reception?
