The Dey Mansion, General George Washington’s headquarters for a time during the American Revolution, is surrounded by a manicured garden.

It makes for the perfect scenery for wedding and event photography, and various events hosted by the mansion’s museum staff. Keep in mind that you’ll need a permit to use the space.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Dey Mansion Garden was originally designed by the Olmsted Brothers? It’s the same firm that designed Central Park in New York City. Today, the garden boasts a restored version of the 1930s Olmsted landscape.
